Aurora Dental Group provides services
for all of your dental needs including preventative and emergency
care, teeth whitening, cosmetic dentistry, and surgical dentistry.
During your first appointment, you can expect the following professional
treatment:
- We will review your detailed medical history, including your
past and present dental information. We want to ensure that nothing
interferes with or prohibits your dental care. At this time, we
ask that you tell us of any dental concerns.
- You are entitled to a completely sterilized environment and
that is a promise at Aurora Dental Group. Following the Center
for Disease Control guidelines, our team is trained in and periodically
tested on all sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
You and your family’s health and safety are a top priority.
- Normally, a complete set of x-rays (usually individual or panoramic)
will be taken.
- A cleaning and comprehensive examination of your teeth and gum
tissue will be performed.
Aurora Dental Group takes dental healthcare prevention measures
very seriously. During your preventative care visit, your teeth
will be cleaned by a state-licensed dental hygienist and examined
thoroughly by one of our dentists. Today we know the connection
is strong between the state of a person’s teeth and gums and
their general health. Further, recent studies show that patients
visiting their dentist at least twice a year have fewer dental problems
in the future. This goes a long way towards saving you time in the
chair... and money.
If you have an emergency dental problem, call us immediately. We
ask our patients to understand that occasionally, emergencies do
arise, and we may run a bit behind schedule in order to make these
patients comfortable.
If you have an after-hours emergency, please telephone our office.
You will be given the after-hours phone number for the emergency
doctor on call. |
